HISTORY
Our graduate school was established under the name of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, affiliated to Erciyes University Rectorate according to the clause “e” of the Article 25 of the decree law numbered 41, published in the Official Gazette dated 20.07.1982 and numbered 17760. The graduate school started education in the 1982-1983 Academic Year. It provides Master’s Degree and PhD Degree education in accordance with the aims and principles of the Higher Education Law No. 2547 and with the provisions of the “Regulation on the Organization and Operation of the Graduate Schools” and the “Regulation on the Graduate Education of Erciyes University”. Master’s Degree and PhD Degree education is provided in Turkish and English in the departments of Architecture, Science, Agriculture, Aeronautics and Astronautics Faculties and School of Civil Aviation. Based on the belief that the most important factor in the development of our country is to train scientists, we serve not only our university but also all graduate students who are interested in our programs across the country.
The Graduate School serves in the Nuri and Zekiye HAS Graduate Schools building with a closed area of 6000 m2, the foundation of which was laid on October 2, 1995 by businessman Kadir HAS in memory of his late mother and father, and which was opened on October 9, 1997 by the 9th President Süleyman Demirel.
