ERCIYES UNIVERSITY GRADUATE SCHOOL OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM

Our quality policy The quality policy of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences has been determined in accordance with the mission, vision and strategic plan. Our institute primarily aims to carry out quality management in accordance with the standards, integrated with internal quality assurance mechanisms and risk management process, within the framework of the quality policies of the Council of Higher Education and Erciyes University. In this context, the quality policy of Erciyes University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences has been determined as:

• To ensure continuous improvement of quality in terms of education, management, research and development,

• To monitor the systems and operations of national/international universities and other academic institutions that can be taken as examples in terms of institutionalization and to make continuous improvements in activities and processes by taking good practices as an example,

• To make continuous improvements in activities and processes in accordance with the quality principles determined by the University and the mission and vision of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences,

• In constant and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, measuring their satisfaction through feedback and making improvements in activities and processes to increase satisfaction by taking the feedback into account.

Quality Assurance Commission The Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Quality Assurance Commission consists of academic representatives from departments, administrative staff, research assistants and students affiliated with our institute, and stakeholder representatives from private and public institutions.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Commission

• To prepare an internal evaluation report integrated with the unit strategic plan, performance program and unit activity report and submit it to the Institution Quality Commission,

• To establish and manage the internal quality assurance system of the unit regarding the evaluation and quality improvement of education, research activities and administrative services in line with the strategic plan and objectives of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences,

• To obtain unit strategic plan indicators and share them with the Institution Quality Commission and submit them for approval.

Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Unit Internal Evaluation Reports and Strategic Plans are published on the institute website. In the Strategic Plan, objectives related to the quality assurance system are included, targets are determined, and indicators and the frequency of monitoring these indicators are presented in detail. The Quality Assurance Commission of the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences meets regularly, and the problems and malfunctions detected are evaluated by the management units and solutions are developed. At the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, 5 different surveys are applied to measure the satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders. Graduate new graduate survey, External stakeholder survey, Graduate student satisfaction survey, Academic staff satisfaction survey and Administrative staff satisfaction survey are administered online on the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences website.
